Finally our house is being renovated room by room. Kitchen - done, living room - done (apart from a new sofa), over this next month we're finishing re-decorating my dressing room, the attic has now been floor boarded and that will be it for this year. It's been non-stop painting, plastering, flooring and tiling for the past 5 months. Next year we'll be tackling the bathroom, main bedroom, lean-to and the landscaping the garden.Gone is the horrible cheap beach furniture we bought for out first rented house 8 years ago, gone is the horrible cheap tacky accessories from our early twenties that were probably quite cool at the time but the bright pinks and purples hurt my eyes now and in place we have vintage finds, classic designer pieces and unique artwork. Not an Argos item in site.
It's been a f'ing nightmare at times but finally this little rented house that we bought off our landlord last xmas feels like home!

Ah thank you. Yep a LOT of hard work but Mr W has put in all of the graft. It helps that that's what he does for a living though :)
