I have an addictive & obsessive personality; its one of the reasons why I don't really drink or do bad illegal things anymore, I can't be trusted and go way overboard, so instead of all that I now find that when I'm bored at home (as I've turned down yet another night out like tonight for fear of not being able to be good) I end up buying things like expensive make-up, which I have far too much of and don't use half of, and now Momiji. I didn't have dolls growing up as they freaked me out (i preferred star wars figures) but Momiji are one of my grown up loves..these are mine and they make me happy...When I get obsessed by something I am literally obsessed until something new comes along when I will cheat on that obsession with the next one and ignore the other. This causes situations like the one 10 mins ago when I decided it would be a great idea to buy 8 new Momiji (no I cannot afford this...I am supposed to be saving and have a target to reach...damn you credit card!!! .i am an idiot sometimes)
who needs alcohol and illegals when you have these cute little things....
..next month I will probably be obsessed by something else.
I should probably choose something a bit more grown up next time.

ah? Thats cool that she talks about it. For some reason I haven't pulled in about 5 weeks now..its very strange. Perhaps its because I'm always on the laptop so don't have my hands free...but then that means I buy things. Its a very annoying thing to have and apparently there isn't a cure. Tell her to try hypnotherapy or cbt. It works for a lot of people

She had to have her whole head shaved recently. She had lost her job and her car had broke down so it wasn't a very good time for her.
Good thing my friend loves her enough to make her feel somewhat better.
I cannot really talk. But.. Dont compulsive shop!

At the moment I'm obsessed with Farmville on Facebook. I actually cannot stop playing it. Seriously. I'm all about looking at the clock and saying I have to go and harvest my pumpkins. I'm hanging my head in shame.
Mine is jewellery... I can't stop! If I see something shiny and beautiful, I have to have it! Thankfully I wear silver so it's not that expensive, but still hurts the old hip pocket!

@Mr C: ah but boobs don’t quite hold the same fascination for straight girls as they do for men..they’re just an accessory Good on your friend for sticking with her shaved head or not. A few times I’ve thought of doing that so it all grows back the same but I can hide mine and once I cut my hair really short when travelling and Mr W refused to have sex with me as I looked like a small boy apparently so I don’t think he’d be too impressed if I did

@The Girl: Farmville is something I have managed to avoid somehow as I know I’d spend far too much time on there if I did.
@Karls: Ooh but at least with jewellery it lasts forever ands you can pass it on. What can I do with makeup and small Japanese dolls. Damn you shopping compulsion!
@thatgirl: yep they are indeed (but not when I spend a small fortune on them…Mr W will go mad when they arrive..I’m going to have to use the old “ what these?..I’ve had these for ages!” line
